Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette | Review and Swatches

Ever since the launch of Urban Decay’s infamous Naked Palette however many years ago, the beauty industry has been flooded with an abundance of neutral eyeshadow palettes. These have been predominantly from the higher end of the makeup spectrum, but recently the more budget beauty brands have really been stepping up their palette game. I am an absolute sucker for an eyeshadow palette, so when I saw Collection’s new releases, I had to pick one up…

The Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette (£3.99) contains 6 shimmery shades that lean on the warm, golden bronze side. The first thing that I thought when I saw this palette is how much it reminded me of the original Naked palette – all of the shades have a similar counterpart in the Urban Decay offering. I’ll admit that at such a low price-point, I didn’t have huge expectations, which is why I was so blown away by this product. The shadows are buttery and pigmented and very reminiscent of higher-end formulas.

It comes in a cardboard packaging which does feel a little cheap and flimsy, but because it is so small it would be really handy to travel with. If I were to say anything negative about this palette, I would bear in mind that there is no matte shade, and I pretty much always like to use something matte in the crease. For me this isn’t a standalone palette, as I don’t feel I can create an entire look with it, but it is definitely a nice addition to my collection.

If you never gave into the Naked palette hype and you’re not willing to shell out £37 or so, then I would definitely consider picking up this palette. When I bought this it was on offer for £2.99, which is an absolute steal. I am thoroughly impressed with this palette, and am very tempted to pick up the other two in the range! Have you tried any of these palettes?
